What Is Custom Works and How Do I Use It in Reports?

Custom Works is a memo section where you can record details about any custom tasks or work performed. This information can be appended to your reports for better tracking and documentation.


You can add Custom Works from the Reports section and include Custom Works in a report while creating a New Report or Scheduling a Report.


Here’s a detailed guide on how to do this:

Open Your Site Dashboard
In the Sites page, click on your site to open its detailed view.
Note: If you manage multiple sites, ensure you select the correct one before proceeding.

Access the Custom Work Section
On your site's dashboard, click the 'Custom Work' button. This opens the Custom Works page for the selected site.
Note: The Custom Work section lists all previous custom tasks or changes recorded for your site.

Add a New Custom Work Entry
Click the 'Add Custom Work' button located at the top-right corner of the Custom Works page to create a new entry.
Note: Each Custom Work entry allows you to describe what specific work was performed on the site.

Enter the Date and Details
In the “Performed On” field, use the date picker to select the date when the custom work was done. Then, type the name of the work in the “Title” box (4.1) and add a short description in the “Description” box (4.2).
Note: Adding accurate dates and descriptions helps keep your reports clear and detailed.

Save the Custom Work Entry
Click the 'Save' button on the left side of the page to store your new Custom Work record.
Note: Make sure all information is correct before saving. You can always edit or delete entries later if needed.

Review Saved Custom Works
After saving, your new Custom Work entry will appear in the table on the Custom Works page. Review it to ensure all details are correct. You can edit or remove any Custom Work entry here.
Note: You can view all past entries here to track what has been done over time.

While creating a New Report or scheduling a report, you can click on "Custom Work" to navigate to the Custom Work section in the report creation page.

Check the box next to 'Custom Works'. This will add your recorded Custom Works to the New or Scheduled report.
