How Do I Reconnect the Plugin If It’s Disconnected?

If your site becomes disconnected from your BlogVault account, this is typically caused by many issues. Here are some of the possible reasons:

  • The site is down or not functioning as intended.
  • The BlogVault plugin was deactivated on your WordPress site
  • Security measures or firewalls are blocking BlogVault's requests
  • The plugin configuration in your site's database is incomplete or corrupted

If you've verified that none of these issues are present but your site remains disconnected, please follow these steps to re-establish the connection:

Step 1 of 4
Identify Disconnected Site
Click on the 'Plugin Disconnected' status indicator next to your site name in the dashboard to begin reconnection
Note: This status appears when the BlogVault plugin loses connection with your WordPress site

Step 2 of 4
Test Plugin Connection
Click the 'Test Connection' button in the Plugin Test section to verify communication with your WordPress site
Note: This diagnostic test checks if the plugin can communicate properly with BlogVault servers

Monitor Sync Progress
The Sync page displays real-time progress with a percentage indicator showing synchronization status
Note: Wait for the sync to reach 100% completion. The page will automatically update as files and data are synchronized between your site and BlogVault.
