In the event you need to restore a backup from a while ago, you can do so while keeping the latest WooCommerce store data.

For example, if a plugin or theme update causes your site to break, you can restore an older backup to reverse the issue. However, your store will likely have had activity in the meantime, like new orders and customers, changes in inventory, new products, and so on. Often, payment gateways are tied to orders by their IDs, so a complete rollback of your site can cause its own set of problems.

Our new "selective restore" feature pulls WooCommerce data from the latest backup, so you can restore any backup version seamlessly.

Restore an old backup by preserving the latest WooCommerce data

After selecting which backup you want to restore, select the ”Retain Latest Woocommerce Orders” option from the Advanced Options menu. The rest of the process remains exactly the same.
