The Emergency Connector

1. Is a PHP file with a name in this format: bv_connector_{{random_string}}.php

2. Enables 1-click restore of a site that is not loading at all.

Previously, to restore a crashed site, we needed FTP. When you restored a backup from your dashboard, you had to put in FTP login details to proceed.

Now, FTP is not bad; it gets the job done. But is it the best, easiest, and most reliable way to get that job done? No.

How does the Emergency Connector make restores better?

Saves critical downtime: Website downtime means loss. The Emergency Connector restores your site in minutes, in stark contrast to FTP.

No need for FTP: Chances are you don’t need FTP for any other website admin work. So if you haven’t gotten it set up, you still don’t need to. Even if you do have FTP, there’s no need to look for the login details in an emergency situation such as a crashed site.
