How can I download certain files of a backup, not the whole backup?

You can follow these steps to do a selective download of your backup file:


Step 1: You need to first go to the backup history page. You have three ways to do this.


Step 2: On the BlogVault site listing page, click on the calendar icon present at the right side of blogs.



OR


Step 2: On the BlogVault site listing page, select the website that you want to download the file it will take you to the site details page. On the Site Details page, click on the calendar icon.



OR


Step 2: On the Site Details page click the Details button in the Backup Module of your dashboard.



In the Backup Module page, click on the Show All Backups right below the Real-Time Updates section.




Step 3: Click on the VIEW button next to the Files Synced in that backup and you will be able to access all the files of that particular backup.



Step 4: Select the file or folder you want to download and click on the Download button.


Step 5: On the next page, BlogVault will ask you to confirm. From here you can also customize your download, for example:- change the Backup version, add more files/folders or add Database tables to download, once you are done click on the Continue button.



Step 6: It will start compressing all the files that you selected.



A Download Link button will appear once the compression is complete, you can click the Download Link button and it will start downloading.

 


Note: The downloaded file will be in .zip, so you need to have any zip extractor software installed in your pc.
