Is it possible to back up or restore a single site in a multisite environment?

While backing up your Multisite WordPress, BlogVault treats all sites in your WordPress installation as one. It backs up all the subsites in your network. Since BlogVault treats the multisite as one WordPress install, you cannot back up a single subsite on the network. However, with the latest update, you can restore a single subsite to a multi-site network.

To restore a specific site in the multi-site network you can follow the below steps,

Step 1. Open your BlogVault dashboard app.blogvault.net and select the mult-site you would like to restore.

Step 2. Under the site details page please click on the multi-site details button ->

Step 3. In the multi-site details page please select a specific site and click on restore ->

Step 4. Click on Continue to start the restoration process ->

This will start the restoration process of the sub-site in your multi-site network.

Note: We may require the FTP credentials to start the restore task if we are unable to connect to our plugin or perform a restoration via HTTP requests.
