How Do I Upload Backups to Dropbox?

Open Your Site Dashboard
Click on your site name in the main sites list to open the site management dashboard.
Note: This opens detailed management options for the selected site, including backups, security, and performance settings.

Access Backup Section
Click on the 'Backups' option in the left sidebar to view all available backups for your site.
Note: This section allows you to view, restore, or upload backups for your selected site.

Start Uploading a Backup
Click on the 'More' button with three dots and select the 'Upload Backup' option in the top-right corner of the Backups page to start the upload process.
Note: You'll be able to select a backup source such as Dropbox or local files in the next steps.

Dropbox Status
Check the Dropbox Connection here. If the Dropbox account is not connected to your BlogVault account, you would need to complete the connection first. Click the 'Go to Integrations page to connect' link to authorize and link your Dropbox account.
Note: A new tab will open where you can complete the Dropbox authorization process.

Review Dropbox Connection
After completing the integration, return to the Upload Backup tab and refresh the page, or restart the process from Step 1. Then, click Dropbox Connection again to verify that your Dropbox account is successfully linked.
Note: Ensure the connection status shows as 'Connected' before proceeding.

Change Backup Version - Optional
We select the recent backup by default. Click the 'Change' button next to the backup version field to modify your selected backup.
Note: This opens a list of available backup versions for you to choose from.

Apply Selected Backup
Click the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the selection dialog to confirm your backup choice.
Note: This locks in the selected backup version for the upload process.

Continue to Upload Confirmation
Click the 'Continue' button to verify your Dropbox connection and proceed to the upload summary.
Note: Ensure the Dropbox connection status shows your email before continuing.

Initiate Upload to Dropbox
Click on 'Upload to Dropbox' at the bottom of the summary page to begin transferring your selected backup to Dropbox.
Note: The upload duration depends on your backup size and internet speed.

Monitor Upload Progress
The final dashboard displays your ongoing upload progress, including backup details, timestamps, and current status indicators.
Note: You'll also receive an email notification once the process is completed.
