How Do I Back Up Non-WordPress Folders?

Open Site Dashboard
Click on your site name in the Sites page to open its management dashboard and access site-specific tools.
Note: You can manage backups, files, and security settings from this dashboard.

Access File Management
Click on the Manage Dropdown and select the 'Files' option in the left sidebar to open the File Management section for your selected site.
Note: This section lets you browse site files and manage which folders are included in sync.

Add Folder to Sync List
Click the folder icon button in the lower-right corner to choose a folder you want to include in file sync.
Note: Use this option to manage which directories are tracked during synchronization.

Confirm Folder Inclusion
In the confirmation popup, click 'Yes, Include' to add the selected folder and its contents to the sync list.
Note: Ensure you only include folders that are required for syncing to avoid unnecessary data transfers.

Select Multiple Folders to Sync
Click the checkboxes beside the folder names in the file list to select it for syncing.
Note: You can select multiple folders if needed; the selected count will appear at the bottom of the page.

Add Selected Folders
Click the 'Add Folders (1)' button at the bottom-right to confirm and prepare selected folders for syncing.
Note: This action finalizes your folder selection before adding them to the sync queue.

Confirm Folder Addition
In the confirmation dialog, click 'Yes, Add' to finalize adding the selected folders to the sync list.
Note: Once confirmed, the folders will be included in future sync operations automatically.

Review Synced Files
If the folder you’re trying to add contains a WordPress installation, it cannot be included because our system treats it as a separate site. You’ll need to add it as a new site instead. Otherwise, the newly added folders will appear in the list with a “Synced” status next to them.
Note: Check that each file or folder shows the correct sync status and last modified details to confirm everything is up-to-date.
