Yes, BlogVault plugin needs to be installed and activated on your website. The plugin is a necessity because it works in tandem with our server.
Here’s a summary of how the BlogVault plugin works:
- After you add a site and install the BlogVault plugin, the plugin helps copy all executable files from your website to our BlogVault server.
- We then scan these files on our server which takes off load from your server. As a result, your website does not experience any downtime.
- In all subsequent syncs, the plugin only copies the incremental changes to the site.
