How do I scan non-WordPress folders? Print

By default, MalCare scans WordPress folders. But you can add non-WP folders. Here’s how:

Step 1: Select the website of your choice from the BlogVault Site Listing page.

Step 2: On the next page, there is a section called Backup. In that section, click on the Details.

Step 2: On the next page, you will see details about the files, tables & backups. Here click on view all to view the files,

Step 3: On this page, scroll down to the folders that are marked in red are being skipped by MalCare while scanning. Select the non-WordPress folder

Step 4: Click Add.

Step 5: That’s how you add a non-WP folder so that MalCare scans it too.
