There are 2 ways of uploading backups of your WordPress site to Dropbox:

Step 1: Go to your BlogVault dashboard

Step 2: On the BlogVault site listing page, select the website of your choice.

Step 3: On the site details page, under the backup tab click on the DETAILS button.

OR

On the Site Details page, click on the history icon. It will take you to the backups history page with the complete list of the backup we have created for your site.

Step 4:  On the BACKUPS page under the SITE HEALTH OVERVIEW tab, click on the upload button

OR

On the Site backup history page, click on the upload button

Step 5:  Click on CONTINUE on the tutorial page to continue with the dropbox upload

Step 6: We will take you to the DropBox authorization page. If you are not already logged in please login into your DropBox account and you will be prompted to allow access to your DropBox account. Click on Allow

  • By authorizing BlogVault, you are permitting it to create a new folder in your Dropbox, and upload backup files.

Step 7: Once you have authorized, you will be given an option to choose the backup version you would like to upload to Dropbox. Choose a backup version of your choice and click on Upload

Step 7: The upload process will run in the background even if you close this tab. Once the upload process is complete, you will be notified of it by email.

Note: Once the process is complete, you will be able to see the backup file (in the form of a .zip), in your Dropbox. To access these backup files, you will have to navigate to the Apps folder in your Dropbox account and click on BlogVault folder.
