When it comes to obtaining database credentials for a staging site, you have two straightforward methods at your disposal:

  1. Accessing the wp-config.php file using FTP clients and
  2. Utilizing the PHPmyAdmin direct access option in the BlogVault dashboard.

Method 1: Accessing wp-config.php via FTP

  • Launch FTP client (e.g., FileZilla).
  • Access the BlogVault dashboard, navigate to staging site details, and click on the button labeled "Details".

  • Copy the SFTP credentials available in the staging site details on the BlogVault dashboard and log in with the FTP client.

  • Locate and open the wp-config.php file (which will be inside the "/site" folder) associated with the staging site.

Method 2: Using BlogVault Dashboard

  • Access the BlogVault dashboard, navigate to staging site details, and click on the button labeled "Details".

  • Utilize the PHPmyAdmin button on the staging site details page.
