To stage your site using BlogVault:
Step 1: Go to BlogVault website and sign up using your email ID.
Step 2: On the BlogVault site listing page, select the website of your choice.
Step 3: It'll take you to the Site Detail page. In this page, click Add Staging Site.
Step 4: Next select the Backup version and the PHP version you want to stage from the respective drop-down menu. Click Submit.
Step 5: You Staging site is being created.
If you click on Return to Site Details Page button, that is, the Dashboard, before progress completes, a tiny progress spinner will be shown. This is the Real-Time Progress Display of your Staging site being created.
Step 6: On completion, keep a note of the username and password provided. This will be used to access the Staging site.
Step 7: These details will be available even on the site details page.
Step 8: On completion, keep a note of the username and password provided. This will be used to access the Staging site.
When you click on the arrow, you will be redirected to a page with details on the staging site.
Note: When you want to share the staging site with other users, HTTP Authentication User and Password credentials are required. These are mentioned in Staging section of the dashboard.
If you want to disable HTTP Authentication, click on the toggle.
- BlogVault protects your staging site with password protection. Only those who have access to the details on your Staging section on the BlogVault dashboard.
